6 If You Don't Trust Your Students, Why Should They Trust You?
Monday June 23, 2025 11:15am - 12:15pm EDT
WBL can be difficult to arrange for students in many career clusters. Many school districts offer few to no internship opportunities to their CTE students. The school district is an optimal training ground for students looking to demonstrate their abilities, but districts have to be willing to allow students to work. By openly admitting the hypocrisy of asking a business to allow a student to work, when the district itself refuses to make concessions to support students, we will learn to craft possibilities where none existed. Opportunities for students, show our support
Presenter is a current AP at a career center, certified in admin, business, special education
Collaborator with and advisory council member to local biomedical science program for examples, plus examples for other clusters and fields.
