"Talk Like A Teacher, Listen Like An Administrator" is an experiential communication symposium designed to to help participants understand your personality and communication styles. This is achieved by administering to you the “Smith C.A.N. Pop Culture Personality & Communication Inventory” which will allow you to see yourself through the communicative personality behaviors of contemporary figures who have come to fame as pop culture icons. This engaging multimedia workshop provides you with an understanding of your own behaviors, and communication styles as well empowers you with immediately actionable strategies for working with all of the other communicative personality types and styles. In short this session allows you to gain valuable insight into who you are, how you are perceived, reduce conflicts, and improve and your communication with others. The goal of this session is to help improve communication in order to build school and departmental cohesion, strengthen staff resilience and adaptability, and create the best school community for fostering student success, staff retention, and trust.
