This session addresses the latest updates in CTE, focusing on the new career cluster framework. Exploring the crosswalk and understanding the vision behind these changes, educators will be empowered to better grasp how CTE is advancing to meeting workforce demands.
Attendees will walk away with the new framework, debunk myths, and the tools to effectively prepare to make adjustments to implement the advancements in their classrooms.

Technology integration is vital to modern CTE programs. This session introduces attendees to free, SC created, SC highlighting tools that can elevate instruction. By leveraging tech resources, educators can enhance engagement and help students gain real-world skills.
Attendees will walk away with the awareness of three sources of free resources (audio clips, lesson plans, videos, documents, interactives, and photos). Attendees will be empowered to enhance their learning environments with standards-based resources.
