About me
Dr. Gladney is an Education Associate in the Office of Career and Technical Education at the South Carolina Department of Education. She is a graduate of South Carolina State University, the University of South Carolina and Capella University. Dr. Gladney manages the Fashion Design and Apparel Construction, Interior Design, CTE Early Childhood Education, Introduction to Teaching, Culinary Arts Management, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Barber/Master Hair Care, Cosmetology, Esthetics, Family and Consumer Sciences, and Food Sciences programs. Additional duties include Dual Credit for CTE Completer status, SREB, compiling office documents – CTE Course Catalog, Dual Credit for CTE Guidelines and collaborating interoffice, interagency, statewide, nationwide and internationally.
Dr. Gladney is a 44 year veteran in education. She is a working retiree and plans to continue working at the South Carolina Department of Education until “the Lord releases her from this assignment.”
She has one son, Ryan Glover Sr., and enjoys spending time with him and his family – wife, Tanisha, and sons – Ryan Jr. and Brayden. She begins everyday giving praises to the Lord for allowing her to see another day. She sees everyday as another day for growth and renewal.
