Experience how Dutch Fork High School brought business and economics to life through Vandora Heights, a student-created city simulation project. Led by Business Education teacher and DECA advisor Tia Green, this hands-on initiative empowered students to design a mock city while learning key concepts in entrepreneurship, finance, and infrastructure planning. In partnership with the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SC DOT), students explored real-world applications by building roads, zoning districts, and public services. Attendees will gain insight into launching similar collaborative projects, creating meaningful business partnerships, and preparing students for real-world success through engaging, career-connected learning.
