About me
Ron Stafford serves as the Head Librarian at Northeastern Technical College, where he leads strategic initiatives focused on digital equity, student access, and library transformation. A recognized expert in Open Educational Resources (OER) and instructional innovation, Ron has presented at more than 30 national and regional conferences on topics ranging from library-led workforce development to affordable learning strategies.
Ron currently serves on the Partnership Among South Carolina Academic Libraries (PASCAL) Engagement and Innovation Committee and is the Chair-Elect of the Affordable Learning Committee. In these roles, he helps shape statewide policy and support structures that expand equitable access to quality learning materials across South Carolina’s higher education institutions.
Under his leadership, the NETC library has evolved into a dynamic learning resource center aligned with both academic and workforce training goals. Ron brings a collaborative and forward-thinking approach to his work, building strong faculty partnerships, implementing emerging technologies like VR and simulation tools, and advocating for underserved student populations.
With a deep commitment to inclusive education and institutional leadership, Ron continues to champion innovative, student-focused solutions that prepare learners for success in today’s rapidly evolving educational landscape.
