About me
My journey began in 2011 as a CNA graduate from Cope Area Career Center, and since then, I’ve continuously advanced both my clinical and academic qualifications. I earned my LPN (2015) and ADN (2019) from Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College, followed by a Bachelor’s degree from Claflin University in 2021. Currently, I’m pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice – Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (DNP-AGNP) at the Medical University of South Carolina, with a projected graduation in May 2027. I’ve also completed Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) courses and am currently enrolled in palliative care training to broaden my scope of compassionate, patient-centered care. Over the past four years, I’ve served as a Health Science Instructor, where I’ve not only educated future healthcare professionals but also spearheaded our CERT (Community Emergency Response Team). My commitment to service extends beyond the classroom—I’ve been an active responder during local floods, hurricanes, and tornadoes, supporting both students and community members during times of crisis. I’m passionate about blending education, leadership, and clinical expertise to improve outcomes, uplift communities, and mentor future leaders in healthcare.
