About me
I am the Health Science Education Associate at the SC Department of Education. I am available to answer questions about Health Science courses, standards, concentrators, completers, certifications, credentials, and SC HOSA. Prior to joining the SCDE, I taught health science for 6 years and served as a mentor to other health science instructors. I am currently the SC ACTE President, SC Health Science Educator Association's Immediate Past President, and serve on the SC HOSA Board of Directors as the SC HOSA Secretary. I was among the first teachers in South Carolina to pilot a certified clinical medical assistant program and have assisted teachers across not only South Carolina but also North Carolina and Georgia in getting CCMA programs up and going.
