Students engage in SC AHEC online healthcare modules, providing students with academic preparation and skill development. Concurrently, students participate in clinical rotations, applying theoretical concepts to real-world scenarios. This dual approach ensures a robust learning experience, bridging the gap between academic study and professional practice.
This initiative not only addresses career-ready educational needs of students, it also provides opportunities for students to work and learn in a rural community by gaining real-world experience in patient care settings which increase the likelihood students will choose to practice in communities in need of healthcare services.
